This article is ONLY for EXISITING Regions Bank Positive Pay clients.
Currently, Regions Bank clients use Treasury Software's Bank Express Code: 1156.
This was specifically formatted for Regions format: 156 (1156 in Treasury Software/156 in Regions Portal).
Regions Bank has a created a NEW Positive Pay Format: 164.
To accommodate our Regions clients, Treasury Software has created a coordinating Bank Express Code: 2164 (2164 in Treasury Software/164 in Regions Portal).
Follow the directions below to update Bank Express Codes, change your existing Bank Express Code, and upload your Positive Pay file to Regions Bank:
Updating Bank Express Codes Within Treasury Software:
1. Enter your existing Positive Pay file within Treasury Software
2. From the top ribbon bar, click "Help."
3. From the far left "Updates" section, click on "Bank Express Codes."
4. A "Done" screen will appear showing that all Bank Express Codes are updated. Click "OK."
Changing Your Bank Express Code:
1. Enter your Regions Bank Positive Pay account.
2. Click on the "Setup" gear.
3. Change Bank Express Code from 1156 to 2164.
4. Click "Update Bank Information."
5. Click "Close."
6. Double check your bank account number. Click "Next" and then "Finish."
Uploading Your Newly Formatted File To Regions:
When you enter Regions Bank Positive Pay Portal, you will see both formats:156 (old) and 164 (new).
Be sure you upload your Positive Pay file to Regions 164 option from now on.
Eventually, the old format will be removed from your portal.
