ACH Universal will read your bank account register and display the transactions which have not yet been processed by ACH Universal.
Create transactions in QuickBooks Online as you normally do.
Please remember that not all customer and vendor activity will be recorded in the register. Tips:
--Enter expenses and checks. If you use Bills - remember to 'Pay Bills'
--Customers - Enter Sales Receipts. If you use Invoices - remember to 'Receive Payments'
--Run payroll as usual, do not opt for QuickBooks Online payroll services (use paper checks).
Tip: If you don't see a transaction in your QuickBooks Online check register, ACH Universal will not see it either.
Import Transactions
From within ACH Universal, click the QuickBooks Online icon on the home page (large icon) or in the Ribbon bar to open the integration window (below).
On the Transactions tab, click 'View Transactions' to accept the default date range - or enter your own.
The first time you run Transactions - ACH Universal will automatically create a profile for each of your customers, employees and vendors that have transactions.
You will want to enter the banking information into the profiles that you want processed.
Once you've entered the information into the profiles that you want to process, click on View Transactions again. Transactions which have not yet been processed will be displayed.
Note: In the screen shot below, not all of the transactions have profiles that been populated yet.
This is okay. While these transactions won't be processed, you can process the others.
Sure why not - let's view the file.
This is the file you created.
US - ACH / NACHA
or if creating a Canadian 1464 EFT file
