The reason you are reading this page is because you are having issues connecting the Treasury Software to either the Treasury Software SQL Express database or to your own SQL Server.
Please verify that the Treasury Software SQL Express database (TREASOFT) or your existing SQL Server is running in the Services panel on the server/computer hosting the database. To access the Services Panel, right click on the Windows Logo in the left corner of your screen and select ‘Search’. Now click on 'Services'.
Scroll down till to verify the SQL Express (TREASOFT) or your own SQL Server database is running. If the database is not running, you will have the option to ‘Start’ it in the top left or you can right click on it and select Start.
Note, the SQL Server Agent does not need to be running.
In addition, make sure the SQL Browser is running. If the SQL Browser is not running, you will have the option to ‘Start’ it in the top left or you can right click on it and select Start.
If you had to start either the SQL Browser or database, please go back into Treasury Software and attempt to make the connection by clicking on the Settings tab > Migrate to SQL Express, SQL Server.
If you are still unable to make the connection, please reboot the client machine and server if possible.
