The majority of Canadian users do not need to change settings if all is working correctly.
The changes below are for users who are having difficulty with the date format.
If using an Excel import spreadsheet and the date is flagged as invalid during the import, you may want to check the settings in the operating system.
In order to see the typical date format that Treasury Software will accept when 'formatting cells', the Regional settings must be on 'English (United States)' -- [rather than 'English (Canada)', for instance].
When formatting the 'Date' cells in the spreadsheet , 'English (Canada)' will not show this default format MM/DD/YYYY, and Treasury Software will show the rows as invalid upon import.
